Oral and Dental Health Excellence for you

Invisible braces for straighter teeth

At Wigston Dental Care we provide Invisalign® Go as a simplified and discreet way to straighten teeth using custom-made, almost completely transparent aligners.

This is an ideal treatment if you are looking for a straighter smile, especially if your teeth have become misaligned.

Unlike fixed braces, Invisalign aligners can be removed at any time, so patients are able to maintain good oral hygiene and eat what they like throughout the treatment.

Invisalign is available as top teeth only, bottom teeth only or dual treatment.

We offer our patients an exceptional clear brace experience from start to finish, including the following:

  • Free Invisalign consultation
  • Free teeth whitening
  • 0% interest finance option

Prices start from £2,750 for both upper and lower teeth.

For a fully integrated approach to straighter teeth, your smile-changing journey begins here:

Step 1: Initial consultation

We offer a free, no obligation Invisalign consultation so that you can discuss how you feel about your teeth and what you want from your teeth straightening treatment.

At this visit, your dentist will talk to you about whether Invisalign is suitable for you, the likely treatment costs and an approximate time frame. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and explore your options.

Step 2: Taking records

If you are suitable and decide to go ahead with Invisalign, we will arrange for a full set of records to be taken.

Our team will take impressions and a bite record of your teeth, along with photos, to send direct to Invisalign, along with a set of precise instructions from our dentist.

Step 3: Making your aligners

Invisalign uses a virtual 3D treatment plan (ClinCheck®) to show the series of movements your teeth will go through over the course of the treatment.

This allows you to see right from the start what your teeth are expected to look like at the end of the treatment.

We will arrange for you to visit us for a ClinCheck appointment. At this visit, if you are satisfied with the results, we will contact Invisalign where your custom-made, clear aligners will be made.

Step 4: Receive your aligners

During your next visit to us, you will receive your first set of aligners, along with clear instructions from your dentist.

Step 5: Wear your aligners

Each aligner is worn for about two weeks before being replaced by the next in the series.

As you replace each aligner your teeth will move – little by little, week by week. You will remove them only to eat, drink, brush and floss.

You may experience a feeling of pressure when a fresh aligner is fitted, but this is a good sign the treatment is working.

Your dentist will monitor your progress around every six weeks and make any adjustments you may need.

As the aligners only work while you are actually wearing them, we recommend they are kept in place for at least 22 hours per day.

Depending on the severity of your teeth, full treatment can take from 3 to 7 months.

Step 6: Finish your treatment

Your treatment ends when you have worn each set of aligners. As with all teeth straightening methods, you will need to wear a retainer following treatment to prevent your teeth moving back to their original position.

The first set of retainers is included in the Invisalign treatment cost, but any additional retainers will cost extra.

We will arrange an appointment to review your smile in approximately six months to check how everything has settled.

We also know that you want to show off your new teeth and smile with confidence so we offer free teeth whitening, on us, at the end of your treatment.
